A Spiritual Calling:
Despite residing in New Zealand and building a successful career in Dubai
for two decades, Padma Lakshmi’s heart always resonated with her Indian
heritage. When the pandemic struck, she found herself drawn to the rich
artistic tradition of Tanjore painting. This calling stemmed not only from her
spiritual upbringing and devotion to Lord Vishnu but also from a deep desire
to reconnect with her cultural roots.
